KHALED RAMADAN

Khaled D. Ramadan is a curator, media artist, documentarist and under cover journalist with diverse interests in the fields of social history, scientific research and critical theory, which have greatly influenced his work. He often makes use of video, photography, the internet, and performance to construct work that illuminates our notions of personal identity and community. He is Lebanese, born in Beirut and currently working in the Nordic region, while living in the city of Copenhagen.
Ramadan studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He is a PhD Candidate at the Department for Cultural Studies and the Arts, Copenhagen University where he is also an external lecturer. Previously he was associated Professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
Ramadan is member of the Danish Art Society and the International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art IKT.
